Congratulations to the beautiful Villa Nai 3.3!

The MICHELIN Guide unveiled its 2026 Key selection on 18th September 2026, with Villa Nai 3.3 retaining the coveted three Keys for a second consecutive year. Villa Nai 3.3 remains the only Croatian hotel to hold the three MICHELIN Key distinction.


Villa Nai 3.3 opened in summer 2021 with just five rooms and three suites, the five star retreat was conceived by owner Goran Morović  and designed by celebrated Croatian architect Nikola Bašić. The property was conceived to blend almost imperceptibly into its rugged island surroundings and from this winter, Villa Nai 3.3 will remain open year-round. 

For General Manager Luka Morović, the latest MICHELIN recognition is particularly personal. Following the news he said,  ‘I joined the team before the first guests and have worked every season since. I started my journey as a bellboy, and I feel so fortunate to be part of the story; seeing it flourish from our opening in 2021 to being a multi-award-winning boutique property. Holding Three Keys for a second year is a real testament to the incredible work our team puts in day in and day out. I have grown with this property and keeping this distinction is something I am incredibly proud of and look forward to our future ventures’. 



As well as being an absolutely stunning luxury hotel, Villa Nai 3.3 is surrounded by 40,000 square metres of organically farmed olive groves consisting of 1,100 trees, a third of which are 500 years old. Every Autumn, the family and the staff harvest the olives and press them on-site in an olive mill to produce the multi-award-winning Nai 3.3 olive oil. Having won awards around the world, Nai 3.3 was the most successful Croatian extra virgin olive oil brand of 2024 and 2025 in the esteemed EVOO World Ranking. At Olio Nuovo Days at the Hôtel Ritz Paris in July 2026, the olive oils took six gold medals and two “Best in Class” titles. 

This year, Michelin counted 2,832 Key hotels worldwide in the 2026 selection: 2,020 with one Key, 657 with two, and 155 with three. The guide added 470 hotels this year across 79 destinations. Villa Nai 3.3 has been continually recognised by the celebrated organisation as it was also among the nominees for the inaugural MICHELIN Architecture and Design Award in 2025.
