Opening: February 2021

Where do the boho crowd want to be right now? Tulum in Mexico. Which is why it is the perfect time for Marriot to open its new property, the first internationally branded hotel in Tulum, Quintana Roo. “Tulum is currently having its moment as one of the hottest travel destinations. We look forward to turning up the heat with the addition of our Aloft Hotel and rooftop bar,” said Sergio Parra, Aloft Tulum general manager. Located between Tulum's desirable downtown district and white-sand beaches the property mixes urban cool with boho chic. The Aloft brand  is known for its emphasis on the in-hotel social scene and innovative music programming, highlighting emerging artists and this property will be no exception. “Leisure and business travellers alike can enjoy an unplugged vacation, yet stay plugged in through the hotel’s innovative technology and happening music scene”, adds Parra.

Enter the hotel's lobby and be greeted by urban art that is changed seasonally, modern furniture and floor-to-ceiling windows. For guests in search of a social scene, Aloft Tulum will offer several trendy spaces including its Ático Rooftop Bar & Lounge. At this soon-to-be hotspot, guests can take a dip in the infinity pool, experience local cuisine and sip on seasonal cocktails – all while marvelling at unrivalled views of Tulum. Additionally, the hotel will be home to a Re:fuel by Aloft, filled with fresh grab-and-go options; Re:mix lounge, the perfect place to mix, mingle and play a game of pool; and the W XYZ® bar where emerging artists and local bands will converge to provide exciting entertainment . The Aloft brand embodies a “different by design” philosophy that injects personality, colour, and an obsession with music – and the culture it creates – into its properties, so we expect great things from its music scene.
