room2 Belfast, the city’s newest hometel, will open its doors on October 16th. 

The new property will feature 175 rooms across nine floors as well as a café, tea room, meeting and event spaces, a gym, bar, restaurant and a spacious lounge available for both guests and locals alike. Located in the heart of the city it is close to Belfast’s most popular attractions. So all of the family can enjoy the city, room2 Belfast is 100% pet friendly.


The homelet will also feature the “One Home” Art Gallery to display sustainable art and celebrate Belfast’s art scene. They are inviting local artists to submit their work to be displayed in the gallery which will be a great way to showcase and celebrate emerging new talent.  

room2 first launched in 2015 and is the world’s first hometel brand and they define a hometel as combining ‘the freedom and flexibility of home, with the experience of Airbnb, and the safety, security and services of a hotel’.

Belfast will be room2’s fourth property and its first outside of England. The group also have homelets in Hammersmith, Chiswick and Southampton.
