The Luxury Travel Bible knows that hotels can inspire movies, witness out Top Ten Best Hotel Movie Scenes but W London-Leicester Square, which is due to open with much fanfare in February, has gone one better. The Starwood group has commissioned a short film set in the hotel to publicise its romantic Valentine's Day opening. No we're not talking a view-of-the-conference room prom video here, we're talking Real Movie (capital R ,capital M) with sexy and good looking actors and a proper director.

Starring super model-turned photographer Helena Christensen, and David Gandy 'Away We Stay' was written and directed by Edoardo Ponti. The short movie is homage to the 1966 British Film classic Blow Up produced by Carlo Ponti (Edoardo's father).

W London-Leicester Square is located at the heart of the British film industry (what premiere hasn't played Leicester Square) and it has its own screening room too so it is a fitting hotel to shoot a movie about.

Nobody will be surprised to learn that the love story depicted in the movie is "To be Continued"' like so many good movie franchises before it W have had a good idea and no doubt they intend to milk it.
