LUXURY TRAVEL: The Most instagrammable greek islands

If you’ve ever had to queue to get that “Isolated sunset shot” in popular Santorini you won’t be surprised that new research reveals that Santorini BEATS Mykonos as the most Instagrammable Greek island, with nearly 8 million hashtags on Instagram.  More surprising is that Mykonos comes in third behind Crete, which ranks in second place, with over 6.1 million hashtags.  Who would have thought it?  Travel experts at Kinglikeconcierge.com examined Instagram hashtag data for over 50 Greek islands to establish the most popular and Instagrammable. Thanasis Mougios from www.kinglikeconcierge.com  which has a curated collection of villas in Greece, commented: 'Social media has a profound influence on people, and now has become a vital factor when researching holiday destinations'.

So which other islands rate?
