GOURMET TRAVEL: Dinner in the Sky, London
Forget the London Eye for this month (September) there is a new and more exclusive way to see London from on high. You can have a Michelin starred dinner suspended 100 feet up. From September 12-22 Events in the Sky will operate a 10 day pop-up restaurant in the capital. Five of London's best Michelin starred restaurants will transfer their menus and dining experiences to a unique sky table, suspended high in the air. The table seats 22 guests, with a guest chef, sommelier and waiting team serving from the centre of the table.
Events in the Sky and Dinner in the Sky have successful showcased the concept in 43 countries to date from Vegas to Tallinn. For the London spectacular some impressive chefs are involved: Anna Hansen from The Modern Pantry, Xavier Boyer from L'Atelier, Tony Fleming from Angler, Atul Kochhar from Benares Restaurant, Pascal Aussignac from Club Gascon and Alyn Williams from Alyn Williams at The Westbury.
Each table has room for 22 guests and there is a choice of 'flights' on offer:
