Christmas at Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park | ||||
The Sheraton Grand Hyde Park’s decadent festive plans are getting us excited for Christmas. The luxury Sydney Hotel, located just a few minutes’ walk from Sydney’s largest Christmas tree, will be hosting a series of pop-up events as well as decadent dining experiences. The hotel’s lobby will set the scene upon arrival as it has been transformed into a Christmas wonderland. The large Christmas tree is adorned in twinkling lights and is surrounded by traditional bunting and elaborate gold reindeers. The atmosphere is complemented by the sounds of carols playing.
The hotel’s signature high tea, served in The Gallery, has been given a festive twist for the season. The lavish Grand Christmas High Tea will serve a combination of sweet and savoury delights paired with Vittoria espresso coffee, fragrant L&M teas and the option to indulge in free flowing sparkling wine (yes please, well it is Christmas after all!). Sheraton Grand has partnered with world-class chocolatiers Koko Black to showcase a pop-up of their luxe range of festive favourites in the grand lobby. A selection of Koko Black velvety hot chocolate, delicious iced chocolate and a petite chocolate box will tempt those enjoying the Grand Christmas High Tea.
Who doesn’t love a Christmas movie? Sheraton Grand has created a Secret Cinema to screen to count down the 12 days of Christmas. All the classic Christmas movies, including Elf, Home Alone, Love Actually will be shown from 13 December to 24 December. The hotel will also offer a schedule of dining offers will be available during December and multiple seating times at the Feast Buffet on all key dates including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve. The Festive buffet includes seafood galore (Balmain bugs, A grade Sydney rock oysters and Queensland tiger prawns), traditional roast carvery of turkey and ham alongside curries, pasta and roasted and steamed vegetables, a charcuterie and cheese station and salad bar. Finish the meal with something sweet including warm Christmas pudding, Pavlova with macerated cherries and Bûche de Noël.
