The Profile: The elegant French architect and designer Pierre-Yves Rochon is one of the hotel industry's most popular interior designers. To date he has designed over 60 hotels, spas and restaurants worldwide with the world's leading luxury hotels queueing for his services. His hotel commissions include projects for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Ritz-Carlton Hotels & Resorts, Sofitel Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Peninsula Hotels. His firm PYR Design has offices in Paris and Chicago ansd deal with projects world-wide.
The Style:  Pierre-Yves Rochon's style is one that strives to "create a refined yet comfortable atmosphere that celebrates elegance and warmth". His award-winning hotel interiors enhances the guest experience with opulent luxury and a defining style. Rochon has the ability to preserve the historical integrity of the building whilst employing contemporary touches like the Four Seasons Georges V in Paris which he loves for its elegance. He attributes this to  the "selection of very good materials, [and] harmony of colours". PYR has also created restaurant interiors for some of the world's most innovative chefs, such as Joel Robuchon, Alain Ducasse and Paul Bocuse.
