Whether it be DINKWADS (dual income, no kids, with a dog) or families with their beloved clan of labradors or labradoodles, the trend for pet-friendly stays is on the rise. 
With this in mind, The Wow House Company have curated luxury staycations to accommodate all the family.

Cromwell House, Sussex, sleeps 12 (and 2 dogs)
Dog towels and dog beds are provided at Oliver Cromwell’s former hunting lodge, a beautifully restored Grade II listed property in the village of Lickfold, West Sussex. Sleeping 10-12 guests in six bedrooms - four in the main house and two in a separate annex - there are two acres of gardens to explore, with a large terrace with seating, heating, a sunken fishpond, croquet lawn, trampoline, hot tub and a sauna/steam room.  
Cromwell House is in the golden triangle between Lodsworth and Lurgashall, with fabulous dog-walking in the beautiful South Downs National Park which is on the doorstep. Price: A week’s self-catering from £8,500, and a 3-night weekend from £5,950. (There is an additional charge of £25 per dog).
 
Riviera House, Devon, sleeps 10 (and 1 dog)
This beautifully restored
Victorian manor house is just a short walk from Torquay harbour and seafront, and with three acres of grounds set within a walled (and fully enclosed) garden. Five ensuite bedrooms sleep up to ten guests, with an array of facilities to keep all ages entertained. Head to the gym with its treadmill, cross trainer and selection of free weights; challenge your party to a pool tournament in the games room; or make music in the drawing room which features a piano and guitar. There is also an outdoor kitchen/dining area boasting a BBQ, pizza oven and outdoor heaters. Price: A week’s self-catering from £6,750, and a 3-night weekend from £4,950. The Old Vicarage, Cheshire, sleeps 16 (and 2 dogs)

The Old Vicarage, set in three quarters of an acre, oozes timeless, Victorian elegance and is dog-friendly to boot. The Cheshire manor house has been thoughtfully restored, blending historic details with modern comforts to create a perfect retreat for families, friends, corporate groups and their pets.  There are eight ensuite bedrooms, a Romanesque-style indoor swimming pool, a cinema room and gym, however it’s the outdoor space that sets the property apart. The grounds include a south-facing courtyard with an outdoor kitchen and dining area, complete with gas Weber BBQ, and a Gozney pizza oven. There is a manicured croquet lawn, six-seater hot tub and cosy corners dotted throughout the formal gardens.  Price: A week’s self-catering from £8,900, and a 3-night weekend from £6,700. Wisteria Manor, Cotswolds, sleeps 16 (and 2 dogs)
Pooches have 20 acres of grounds to canter around at the Grade II listed
Wisteria Manor, which dates back to the 13th Century and is located in the pretty village of Ebrington, just outside Chipping Campden. The property sleeps up to 16 guests in eight en-suite bedrooms and oozes character.  Expect large open fireplaces, beamed ceilings, wood panelling, window seats, a card table and a cinema room with bar. The real showpiece is the property’s beautiful gardens, offering never-ending views across the Cotswolds, towards Broadway Tower. The parkland is full of ancient apple, pear, plum and walnut orchards, plus there is a walled rose garden and spring-fed lake for those brave enough for a dip (a paddle board and rowing boat are also available) and a lawn with football nets. The White House, Shropshire, sleeps 26 (and 2 dogs)
Set within 12 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland – ideal for two well behaved dogs to frolic in -
The White House is a rural hideaway, yet only 25 minutes (15 miles) from Ludlow.  This sprawling mansion comes complete with a brook, fishing lake, and boot room, with an outdoor pool (open April - October) and breathtaking valley views. There are 13 bedrooms, 11 of which are ensuite, a grand dining table that will seat 26 for special feasts, plus a cosy snug to escape from it all and a separate games room with a pool table and table football. The kitchen area has all mod cons and caterers are available for those who prefer not to cook.  Price: A week’s self-catering from £7,000 and a 3-night weekend from £4,250.
