While The Luxury Travel Bible may question the decision to have the bed in the 754 square feet (70 square metres) Eiffel Suite facing the bathroom instead of the up-close Tower view, there is no denying this is a devil's lair ripe for raw seduction. With furniture designed by Christophe Pillet, a one-time protégé of Philippe Starck (no mistaking those angles), this room is pumped with bright acid tomato against stone, chrome and chocolate wood. Not a setting for one who wears floral and frippery, this look is set for sleek - shiny or matt. The rest of the 26 rooms and 21 suites follow similar suit. There is no restaurant here, but the staff at Sezz are swift at getting pretty much your stomach's desire from any of the restaurants nearby.
