The archetypal Alpine chalet on the outside but a million miles away on the inside. Although the interiors nod in the direction of the typical traditional Alpine style by the utilisation of timber and lots of it, it’s the furnishing, fabrics and finishes that set this wonderful chalet apart. Marco Polo himself would be quite pleased with the Asian and Oriental influences on show here, seeing as he did much to introduce the art and culture of that part of the world to Europe.
