Arctic Bath is an innovative floating hotel and spa focusing on wellness, has now opened its doors on Sweden‘s Lule river. The unique hotel, a circular main building designed by architects Bertil Harström and Johan Kauppi to resemble a bird’s nest, accompanied by a series of floating and land cabins around it. Situated under the northern lights in winter, and the midnight sun during the summer months, arctic bath welcomes guests to immerse themselves in the elements while leaving a minimal environmental footprint behind. The main building is accessed by a walkway and houses the restaurant, lounge bar, four saunas, the spa treatment room, changing rooms and a small shop. The wellness centre offers massage, hot stone treatments, cleansing, detox and relaxation. A hot bath is available for soothing muscles between bracing cold dips in the plunge pool.
