While the four luxury resorts share many common ÀNI themes, in terms of location, style and ambience they are a diverse mix. ÀNI Anguilla is the property that launched ÀNI Private Resorts having been initially built as a private holiday home for ÀNI Founder and Owner Tim Reynolds and his family. Located on a cliff overlooking the ocean, the Group acknowledge that there is more demand for a beachfront location so ÀNI is planning to build a new beachfront Anguilla property in the near future. ÀNI Dominican Republic is a 14-suite property located on its own peninsula , ÀNI Thailand features 10-suites, the design of which has been inspired by the temples of Northern Thailand. Tim Reynolds speaks with such passion about the importance and impact of the academies that it is evident that this is a cause very close to his heart. It is great to see luxury resorts giving back to support and develop their local communities. Proceeds from each stay at the resorts supports the academies which are funded in their entirety by a non-profit organization. One of the most inspiring aspects of ÀNI Private Resorts are the ÀNI Art Academies. The academies, located in each of the private resorts’ destinations plus two in the US, offer art scholarships for tuition, housing and materials to aspiring artists to develop their skills and then pursue artistic careers. The training program has been developed by artist Anthony J. Waichulis to promote creative freedom without adhering to one particular aesthetic. Guests are encouraged to visit the academies during their stay and students receive 100% of proceeds from any sales. Students will also visit the resorts for an evening of portrait painting or art lessons for guests.
