Hotels are all about design these days - so what better places to find the ultimate Christmas Tree. From traditional baubles to teddy bears and designer shoes The Luxury Travel Bible travelled the world (thanks for the lift Rudolph)  to bring you the best decorations and the best trees with five stars on top. The Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux and Spa has partnered with the original French ballet shoe brand Repetto, to design a  tree with a ballet theme, including pink and black satin ballet shoes, golden medals and Repetto-wrapped presents.

Hundreds of ice blocks hang from the ceiling around a feather tree, with candles and ice blocks scattered in the water at Hôtel de la Paix.  As the ice melts and drips a smoke machine is used to add a mystic feel.
