HOTEL PARCO DEI PRINCIPI, SORRENTO, ITALY
Proving that you can find rat pack style party pads outside the US this hotel created by Italian architect and industrial designer Gio Ponti is a 1961 design classic. It sits on the Amalfi coast and  is a homage to blue and white  shrine to all things Sixties. Characterized With stunning graphic patterns on its blue ceramic tiles and in its soft furnishings.  It retains it’s Sixties vibe because so much of the original Ponti design has been preserved, all be it updated and refurbished. The views over the Gulf of Naples are pretty spectacular too.
