THE SAGUARO, SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA US |
Once an all-white Mondrian this hotel was transformed in a rainbow oasis in the desert by architects Peter Stamberg and Paul Aferiat. The Saguaro Hotel (pronounced Sa-Wah-Roh) now channels the 1960s with its Lego brick modernist exterior and its technicolor palette. We love the kalediscope of colours: Bright yellow pool sun loungers with bright pink cushions, the pink lounge fireplace, the purple couches the red and yellow lobby. We even love the exterior sign in bright orange and red. Put your sunglasses on before you go inside! The pool side vibe is pretty technicoloured too with beautiful people sipping daiquiri and DJs thumping out a beat. Luxury Loves
