The ice bar (33 feet high by 52 feet wide, 10 x 16 metres) is just one of the main draws of this huge village that spreads out over this 215,278 square feet (20,000 square metres) area of snow each winter. Furnished entirely by ice - right down to the glasses - it can also transform itself into an igloo disco for private events. Each year around 30 individually decorated rooms and suites are built inside a snow hotel. Close to Yllas and Levi ski resorts, you can also head out on a husky-led sleigh ride across the wilderness and learn about the traditional livelihood of reindeer herdsmen. An extensive private program is on offer by request covering everything from Arctic fishing to motorised ice karting and ice sculpting lessons to a moonlight reindeer safari and dinner on top of Yllas.
