Carducci 76, Rimini, Italy |
This seaside 1920s villa reinvents itself as a boutique hotel with icecream coloured cool and dark nero wooden furniture. While the atmosphere is contemporary Italia, there are small pockets where, like a modern day Marco Polo, the design heads decidedly East. The 38 rooms are neutral zones of white sheets warmed with well-crafted wood. The three name suites are each defined by their own character. The Thay suite has a 180 degrees sea view and a Japanese inspired wooden bridge that links the living room to the bathroom. In the Sunny suite a solarium takes flight in the shape of an Arabian tent while the Jacuzzi suite features its namesake encased in bright red mosaic tiles. Luxury Loves
