Hospes Palacio Del Bailio
Antonio Pérez Navarro has reinvented the hotel industry in Spain with his innovative Hospes Group. Taking historical buildings and giving them a modern twist is what Navarro does best. Witness Hospes Palacio Del Bailio for example.  Built between the 16th and 18th centuries, the building , a traditional Andalusian agrarian estate, has been meticulously restored and finely balanced with contemporary design. Guests move among original detailing such as wrought-iron railings, Moorish embellishments and a lavishly painted ceiling - all enhanced with understated modern touches. In the spectacular main patio, traditional paving has been replaced with a dramatic glass floor to reveal Roman ruins 4.5 metres below. The restored frescos further reflect a care for cultural detail, while inviting guests to be revitalized by history; just as history itself has been so subtly revitalized.
