Miraculously, Donatella has managed to channel the loudness of vivid Versace into a more muted medley of sorbet-soft tones tastefully tinged in gold. The signature emblems and Medusa heads are still there - notably on the in-hotel china and cushions, however it's a more livable luxury that inhabits this dynastic style hotel. Imported sand on the edge of the outdoor pool and a Roman bath-style spa offer sumptious seclusion from the rest of the brasher beach vibe outside.
