| Velaa Private Island lies at the forefront of the wellbeing movement, leading the way to integrate health and wellness into all aspects of the guest experience. This year, the Maldivian resort will launch its brand new and wellness programme. Drawing upon a philosophy based on the balance between Body, Nutrition, Fitness and Mind, the new Velaa Spa will include a range of new products and experiences, including 3- and 5-day holistic wellness experiences including four different experiences, including The Detox, The Relaxing, The Rejuvenating and The Fitness Reviver package. With an assortment of treatments unique the island, the Velaa Spa has created a new spa menu of luxury massages and facials. A range of signature treatments include a chardonnay body scrub and a green caviar facial, which uses a mixture of caviar, pearls, gold trace element and ultrasonic waves to create an ultra-luxury, rejuvenating experience. Velaa has also announced the launch of its very own line of spa products and bespoke scents, inspired by the island’s flora and fauna. Alongside their own spa range, The first new range is the organically produced Kotoshina, originating from Kyoto, Japan and second is Dr Burgener, created by the celebrated wellbeing practitioner Dr Marc Burgener.
