Hotel de Crillon, Paris France
We’ve been looking forward to this one  for  a long time. The Parisian hotel, which has hosted a who’s who of the world since 1758, will reopen in 2017 after some serious renovations,  rebranded a Rosewood hotel (always a good sign) and with two brand-new suites designed by Karl Lagerfeld. Other changes are under the guidance of renowned architect Richard Martinet, the artistic director Aline d’Amman and three Paris-based decorators - Chahan Minassian, Cyril Vergniol and Tristan Aue. Expect a rich tapestry of sophisticated interiors and an inviting array of new restaurants and bars.
Opens: 2017
