Once the home of the ‘Grand Ol’ Opry’ - yes, the Grand Ol’ Opry is the name of the radio show, not a location (don’t worry that is a common misconception), the Ryman Auditorium celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2017. Known as ‘Mother Church of Country Music’, the auditorium hosted the Grand Ol’ Opry from 1943 to 1974. 
Today the Ryman Auditorium is a National Historic Landmark and due to its exceptional acoustics, and following a $14million expansion, it continues to be a firm favourite. Recent performers include Ringo Starr, Coldplay and the Foo Fighters.
Visitors today will love the museum featuring original artefacts from the likes of Johnny Cash and Louis Armstrong and Blake Shelton.
