Another hotel from the Oetker Collection (owners of Le Bristol and the sublime Hotel du Cap) is always good news. Oetkler has unveiled plans for its first masterpiece hotel in the French Alps, designed by interior designed by India Mahdavi and Jospeh Dirand, L'Apologee which will open in Courchevel on 11 December 2013 (11/12/13 - an easy sequence to make sure none of us forget the date - as if we would). The hotel will have 33 suites and 20 rooms and TLTB readers will be particularly pleased to hear that the penthouse has its own jacuzzi and private terrace with breathtaking views over Courchevel village. A private ski lift will give guests access to the hotel and the restaurant will be overseen by two-star Michelin chef, Yannick Franques. If that isn't luxurious enough next to L'Apologee a five bedroom private chalet with spa and home cinema will also be on offer.
