There is a sleek modern feel about  Les Suites Orient despite the hotel's Art Deco exterior. There has been a lot of clever modern thinking too.  From the 5th to the 20th floor all the rooms have views of the bund and Pudong beyond  or Yu Gardens. Clever touches mean that windows are designed at sitting height in the split level studios so you get the perfect view when relaxing.  Bath sin the studios also have a view. A bedside console controls the A/C, raised the shades, dims or turns off lights and music. The mini bar is also complimentary (for non alcoholic drinks).
