High flyers fearful of being caught in the Grand Prix gridlock can be whisked over the crowds from the airport to the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort  in no time. Then it's straight to the sun-loungers for a pre-lunch cocktail. While it doesn't have the history of other Monte Carlo  hotels such as the Hotel Hermitage this was the first new hotel build in Monaco for 75 years, which makes it pretty special.  The Luxury Travel Bible is particularly fond of the gold-tiled hamman in the Cinq Mondes Spa. For those who love designer chic and a little more history check into the 1920s Monte Carlo Beach hotel down the road  recently restyled by uber designer India Madhavi. Just don't forget to look stylish when you check-in, after all you're in Princess Grace land now.
