Sexily spare but stacked with furniture pieces in interesting shapes, this 600 year old riad aims for right here, right now cool...and intimate. The TV cinema lounge is propped with a bed for two people. The massage room is dangerously dark with walls of charcoal polished tadelakt. In the rooms, beds float above their underlighting and i-Pods are pre-loaded with lounge music that streams through built-in speakers. It may be only five rooms big, but the ultra-hip rooftop lounge looks set for sixty plus to party. 
The only thing left to question, whilst sipping the mini bar Veuve in the deep tub-like bath, is what gives with the hotel rubber ducky here bath side amid all this groove?
