DESCRIBED AS a getaway within a getaway, nine treatment rooms plus a salon and gym make up the 11,000 square feet of the spa inside Donald Trump's resort. The Ambience: Glass doors welcome you into the spa which is decorated in browns, creams and caramels. Unlike many lounges where men and women wait to be picked up for treatments separately, the waiting room is co-ed.

The Treatment: The
Gemstone Massage. Depending on your needs guests can choose from balancing emeralds which restores depleting energy and stimulates creativity; purifying diamonds to cleanse and enlighten mind and body; revitalizing rubies which invigorate and uplift the inner self; or calming sapphires designed for tranquility.
Rather than using the rocks in their whole form, the gems are infused into oils combined with rare flower and herbal essences to promote serenity and healing.
The Result: My balancing treatment did just what it says on the tin. I left in a state of complete relaxation and felt centred as all stress melted away. Guests are also presented with a Path of Experiences gift collection bag which is customized for you by staff upon departure. Now there's no excuse not to keep up regular pamper sessions.
