If you have $1.1 billion
(£700 million pounds) to spare and love the glamour of Monaco but hate the crowds we have the yacht for you...
A yacht with its very own go kart circuit sounds unusual but then again this certainly isn't your regular run-of-the-mill yacht. 'The Streets of Monaco' promises to recreate a small section of the Principality of Monaco.
This one-of-a-kind concept incorporates land-based architecture by Yacht Island Design, is able to accommodate 16 guests and 70 crew and is expected to be able to reach a top speed of 15 knots.
Main features include swimming pool with swim-in Jacuzzi/bar, fountains, gardens, courtyard for sporting activities (which also doubles up as a helipad), waterfall, spa with manicure and hair salon,
owner's apartment, seven guest suites, library, cinema, wine cellar, casino, dance hall, two large tender garages, sea level 'beach' decks, dive dock and a submarine, which can be deployed from one of the submerged hulls. With all that no wonder the yacht has to be over 155 metres long.
Continuing the island theme Yacht Island Design's next project will be a smaller 85-metre yacht based on a Pacific Island with 'a flowing organic shape and natural themed features'. |
