Jeff Leatham |
The Profile: As Artistic Director of the Four Seasons George V in Paris, Jeff Leatham has created a sensation with his original and extravagant floral designs. He realised that flowers were his destiny aged 18 after visiting the Four Seasons Los Angeles and seeing the impact and beauty that the arrangements offered. After starting his career designing for Four Seasons in Beverly Hills in the mid 1990s he moved to Europe and has since been voted Best Hotel Florist in Europe three times.
Most recently US society matrons whisper his name as the one responsible for masterminding the flowers at Chelsea Clinton's 2010 wedding. William and Kate didn't use him for theri wedding but perhaps they can corretc that mistake with the christening flowers. |
The Style: Jeff Leatham interiors express both his love for flowers and his passion for design. His floral sculptures are often compared to contemporary art and always make an impact, they never just become part of the background. Leatham creates a dramatic effect in his arrangements through the use of colour, shape and simplicity. His style can be described as 'clean, simple and chic'. Always the perfectionist, Jeff's passion for detail shines through in his floral designs, art and architecture. |
