The Group: The award winning boutique hotels by Anouska Hempel Design are imaginative, stylish and visionary. Blakes London is one of the most enduring hotels in the world and it is often the blueprint for fashionable small hotels worldwide. Blakes Amsterdam takes its inspiration from the Dutch East India Company which adds warmth, colour and spice to traditional Dutch architecture. The Hempel, is known for being London's first minimalist hotel. In 2009 the Grosvenor House Apartments on Park Lane and La Suite were opened by Anouska Hempel Design. In 2010 Warapuru in Brazil will open its doors to guests and promises to be 'an awe-inspiring monolithic work of minimalist grandeur' which is certainly a description to live up to.
