The hotel, located in Madrid, was designed by an army of top architects, including Ron Arad, Jean Nouvel, and Marc Newson. There are 308 standard rooms, 22 junior suites, and 12 suites but it is the white Zaha Hadid designed portion that interests us here. Designed in a single organic white curve it looks like something even the Jetsons would find futuristic.
This spacious and space-age fantasy in pure blanco was designed and manufactured digitally. The organic curves produces a room not separated by a ceiling, walls or edges, everything is continuous. ”Every single element – the walls, bedroom door with its LED signs, sliding door to the bathroom, bathtub and vanity unit, bed, shelves, chair and a cantilevered bench by the window which doubles up as a table – is rounded in a single curved sweep” says Zaha Hadid
