There is so much history within this seemingly ordinary looking building, if only these walls could talk! Historic RCA Studio B is Nashville’s oldest recording studio and has recorded the likes of Elvis Presley, Chet Atkins, Roy Orbison and the Everly Brothers. The studio was built in 1957 and its techniques are said to have created the ‘Nashville Sound’ and led to reviving the popularity of country music and making Nashville an international recording destination. More than 35,000 songs have been recorded here, including 260 Elvis hits. There are many features left from the stars who recorded here, such as the Christmas lights that Elvis had installed for ambiance when he recorded his holiday album. The return shuttle to the studio, located in Music Row, collects visitors from outside the Country Music Hall of Fame and Music.
