Firmdale Hotels' Ham Yard Hotel are hosting a Royal Wedding Rooftop Garden Party. To celebrate Harry and Meghan’s nuptials guests will be served a specially created Afternoon Tea which blends British and American sweet and savoury favourites. A selection of English sandwiches including, smoked salmon, cream cheese and lemon, cucumber and watercress, and honey roast ham and English mustard will be available, as well as American savouries, including mini corn dog with American mustard, mini doughnut with pulled pork and smokey BBQ sauce and Maryland crab cake with chilli mayonnaise. Sweet items include scones with clotted cream and preserves, cherry and lemon Pavlova, chocolate mousse profiterole, strawberry mousse and Champagne jelly, peanut butter and raspberry jelly financier and wedding fruit cake with Battenberg. To toast the happy couple, guests can enjoy a glass of American Domaine Carneros, Sparkling Brut, California NV or English Hoffman and Rathbone Classic Cuvée, Sussex, England 2013. To end the celebration, guests will be served a slice of elderflower and lemon wedding cake (the flavour of The Royal Wedding Cake) to take home. The Royal Afternoon Tea will available from14-27 May 2018, £45 per person and served in the hotel’s leafy rooftop garden with sweeping views over the London skyline.
