Mayfair’s five-star hotel DUKES LONDON has created a limited edition Royal Wedding Afternoon Tea to celebrate Harry and Meghan’s big day. The afternoon tea will be served with ‘Royal 1st Flush’ Black Tea from the East India Company. This blend is harvested from bushes planted by Harry’s grandparents, HRH Prince Philip and HM Queen Elizabeth during their first visit to Ceylon in 1954. The Royal Wedding Afternoon Tea will include treats such as delicate doughnut pralines, peanut chocolate délice and for traditionalists, fruit tartelette topped with edible flowers. To commemorate the royal union of Britain and America, DUKES has also created red and blue Battenberg cake, a classic British cake combined with the USA’s national colours. DUKES LONDON's Royal Wedding Afternoon Tea is priced at £32.50 or £42.50 with a glass of bubbles.
