Aman-I-Khas, (combining aman, meaning "peace", in Sanskrit, and khás, meaning "special" in Urdu and Hindi) is an exclusive wilderness camp set in the rugged hills of Rajasthan on the outskirts of Ranthambhore National Park. The park has been a wildlife sanctuary since 1955 and is one of the best places in the world to see tigers in the wild.
The resort comprises of 10 luxury tents which have been decorated in a Mughal style and all feature king size beds. From Aman-I-Khas guided 3.5 hour Jeep Safaris take guest to spot Tigers roaming the National Park.  A tigress named Arrow Head recently gave birth to two cubs, bringing the population of resident tigers in the park to over 60. 
Aman-I-Khas also features a spa tent and secluded swimming pool (perfect for a refreshing dip after a day spotting Tigers). Spa treatments that draw on Ayurveda, India’s 5,000-year-old system of preventative medicine encouraging balance in all things.

The camp operates from October until the end of June - the best period for wildlife spotting.
