The Profile: Born in Poland, but raised in England, Barbara Hulanicki and her husband Stephen became famous in the London of the swinging Sixties and seventies for created the Biba store on the Kings road a five story Art deco clothing store.  Friend of rock stars and design muse to the famous her fashions became known worldwide. In the 1990s she turned her design flair to hotels and  helped  revive the Art Deco splendour Miami Beach through her work for Chris Blackwell  and his Island Outpost Group] .[link to boutique groups]
The Style: Boho chic meets art deco. Hulanicki's most recent projects have included private luxury homes on Palm Island and Dilido Island in Miami  as well as hotel development for Chris Blackwell's Goldeneye in Oracabessa, Jamaica.
